I am a person on SSDI that is trying to grow a business but am limitied by my physical limitations. I have decided that I need to be able to have internet businesses to increase my income faster and give me income from outside my location. I need to be able to find companies that drop ship good products and do it with my business name/logo on the shipped product.

I agree with the lawyer. The laws ARE so goofy it is crazy. example: In printing if you use double sided tape, in one form form of printing the use of the tape is taxable and in a different form of printing its not. I also do computer maintence and I feel it is rediculious that I have to tax someone to provide the service of installing software (that they paid tax on to buy it) but if I provide other computer services its not taxed.

Hi, just wanted to jump in with my vision for creating a new business and education model that is based on the holistic model that encourages and fosters a culture of creativity, prosperity, and entrepreunership! This is geared to the new innovation age...

I think Paul Douglas' comments on our youth programs is fabulous, but as children see divorce as a role model for marriage, they also are seeing the demise of business and personal finances (homes in foreclosure, business personal loss etc.) as a "role model" for starting a business. How can we possibly create a realistic positive role model for our children in business in this economy?

I believe it's all about having the vision for creating a new way of doing business and educating that is pro-active, collaborative, and encourages innovation outside the box--way outside!

Training the kids to develope their own products and business IS important. The reason is that companies today generally will let you go for no good reason other than to save money. If you make at the higher end of pay scale and are a part of the lower level workforce (non--execs) or are close to getting a retirement from a comany. So the companies have shown that they want it both ways: They want you to be creative and work really hard and not be able to get pay raises that even keep up with inflation. And then let you go so they can fill your position with a lower paid person.
So if you cannot rely on a company to be fair to you and to really have the oportunity to retire from the company, the kids Have to know how to work for themselves.

look closer - universal health care is not working and does not work - but will raise taxes
eliminate choice and options. Not the answer for small business.

Health Care costs rise because of the liability insurance and protection for doctors - and a fear factor. I believe we need better process on that front - with this improvement perhaps the rising costs can be addressed better.

If the small business is such a large majority, what can be done to put this to work as a cost advantage. There must be a missing link somewhere.

Traditional banks are archaic in my opinion, even going back to times of better economy and credit standing. Until the banks themselves understand this - that they are holding back business and in some, or many cases, closing businesses down- that the business community now and in the future will only turn to private funding. How we will get to these sources has been and is difficult at best. A true resource listing of investors and THEIR agendas (what type of industry they will actually invest in) would help to eliminate the mass approach to the non- insterested - and allow the small business owner to pinpoint the correct investor potential. This is huge, and necessary to small business.
